Here on Horn Harbor, the rain starts early and then the fog rolls in.  Lael is wrapping up last-minute projects such as installing the EPIRB, the carbon monoxide detector, the fire extinguishing system for the engine and a pin for the tilt mechanism in the outboard.  The surveyor is coming on Tuesday; we need his final report in order to obtain boat insurance for the Pacific crossing we plan to make in early 2009.  We are leaving early tomorrow to drive to North Carolina for Lael's granddaughter's christening.

Hence, today seemed like the perfect day to work on getting the blog site established. Somehow, I thought a blog would be easier to do than maintaining the PS website while we are far from home.  After six hours of slogging through the software that is supposed to make it all 'easy' - I'm thinking I may be wrong.  It is slow and painful to get things looking just right.  Sort of like trying to swim with only one arm... I'm getting nowhere fast.
